One Charity Helps Veterans Visit DC

Honor Flight, an Ohio based charity, makes it possible for Veterans to visit Washington, D.C. on Memorial Day. Founded in 2005, Honor Flight has provided 138,000 World War II Veterans free transportation to Washington DC to visit the WWII Memorial. The charity's original focus was on WWII Veterans, but they now include veterans who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
